My wife, Karen, and I together with Richard Myhill fished on the boat Silverdawn skippered by Rod Wyndham in last week’s Mapelane Billfish 2012 held at Mapelane Skiboat club and the good news is that we won with 4 marlin being caught and successfully released on our boat, including one each from Karen and I. See attached picture where Karen is now flying her bikini top to show that a lady caught the fish, something she has started doing last year, which causes much mirth on the beach when people realize why its there!

Congratulations to the Southern Gauteng team of Jan & Fiona Hofman, Leon Nel and Wynand Wiering fishing off Jan's boat "Ocean Commotion" on winning the 2012 All Inland Interprovincial at Sodwana Bay.

Leon & Wynand both released sailfish.

Well done you have made us very proud

Well done to the Nomads team who fished in the Natal Rod and Reel interclub.  The Nomads team placed second in the competition. Well done to Trevor Spence – Captain, Ian McCabe and Ivor Matthee.

The Protea Costa Rica [Dave Martin (capt), Ferdi Pistorius & Mike Koch] team excelled themselves this year and have been placed 2nd overall. Ferdi Pistorius second top angler and Dave Martin 5th. Well done to the team on this fine achievement.
