Update of Rose bowl, important developments.
Monday the 13th of January 2014, the clubs representing Southern Gauteng deep sea angling had an Ad Hoc meeting in Germiston to discuss their misgivings with regard to the venue for the Rose Bowl 2014 in Mozambique. Concern was expressed by many with regard to safety and security. It was deducted from the discussion that very few anglers would be attending this years Rose Bowl based on these misgivings.
It was decided to change the venue to Sodwana and Guinjata, the host club, required a few days to try and make these alternate arrangements. A request from Guinjata was that all the attending clubs approach their members to try and get and indication from them as to how many boats they would enter into the Rose Bowl 2014, should they be successful at securing Sodwana as the venue. Dates to remain as per the original Rose bowl dates.
If you are considering attending the 2014 Rose bowl to respesent Nomads, I would appreciate a prompt reply from you, giving details of your boat name and crew. This is urgent as all the clubs will meet again on Monday to tally the number of boats and anglers and make a final decision with regard to this years Rose Bowl.
A prompt and positive response to this email “address to myself, mitchell@mandmconstruction.co.
