2017 AGM and Boat Testing Day

In accordance with the provisions of our constitution, notice is hereby given that the Nomads Game Fishing Club, Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 28 October 2017. The meeting will be held in conjunction with our annual boat testing and all members are encouraged to make use of this opportunity to sea worthy boats for 2018.

DATE: SATURDAY 28 OCTOBER 2017

VENUE: NOMADS CLUBHOUSE C.R.SWART DAM RYNFIELD, BENONI

TIME: 08h00 BOAT TESTING BEGINS

10h00 AGM

11h00 BOAT TESTING CONTINUES

The club will be open and snacks and boerie rolls will be served. An initial limit will be set for drinks at the pub by the out-going committee, thereafter drinks will be for your account. All Nomads members and their families are invited and you are welcome to spend the day and braai at the dam after testing.

The SADSAA and PROTEA nominations have all been received and sent through to SADSAA now for selection.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

PROTEA – XV International Fishing Tournament Guatemala 2017

Nominations are hereby called for a 3 person team to represent South Africa (Protea Colours) at the XV International Fishing Tournament Guatemala 2017.

This will be a light tackle billfish tournament fished on 10 kg line held at Club Nautico de Guatemala.

The tournament dates October 19th to 23rd 2017. The entry fee is USD 1,800 per team and the team have to charter their own boat (The organisers will help in securing a boat)

The entry fee excludes Boats, accommodation and airfares.

 

SADSAA – Light Tackle Billfish National Championships 2017

Nominations are hereby called for a 3 person team to represent SADSAA at the Light Tackle Billfish National Championships 2017.

The host province is Mpumalanga and the tournament will be fished on 10kg line at Sodwana Bay Zululand between the 18th to 25th November 2017. This is an own boat tournament.

The entry fee is R 5,850 per team which excludes travelling and accommodation.

 

SADSAA – Heavy Tackle Billfish National Championships 2017

Nominations are hereby called for a 3 person team to represent SADSAA at the Heavy Tackle Billfish National Championships 2017

The host province is Mpumalanga and the tournament will be fished on 37kg line at Sodwana Bay Zululand between the 18th and 25th November 2017. This is an own boat tournament.

The entry fee is R 5,850 per team which excludes travelling and accommodation.

 

SADSAA Masters – Light & Heavy Tackle Billfish National Championships 2017

Nominations are hereby called for 3 person Masters teams for both the Sodwana Nationals above.
